10.1.2007 The steering committee will meet in preparation for the symposium on January 24th, 2007 at the Restaurant Musta Lammas, Kuopio starting from 6 PM. The agenda also contains matters on closing the books for 2006, planning the activities and the budget for the year 2007 and the processing of membership applications.
4.1.2007 INVITATION TO THE ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Society of Physical Pharmacy, Finland will be held in Kuopio during the annual symposium on January 25th, 2007 starting at 4.15 PM. 29.11.2006 The meeting of the steering committee concentrated on the details of the symposium organization. The program of the symposiumin was confirmed (download, PDF 2395KB, in Finnish). The membership application of one new member was accepted, welcome!
15.11.2006 The XVIII annual symposium"Lipids and their pharmaceutical applications" organized by the Society of Physical Pharmacy, Finland is almost here (25th January, 2007)! Thus, the registration for the symposium has been opened under the symposium link. Also, the first announcement of the symposium has been published and its distribution started (download, PDF 2381KB, in Finnish). The deadline for the registration is January 11th, 2007. The exact program for the symposium will be published here soon.
8.11.2006 The sixth meeting of the steering committee will be held on November 28th, 2006. The agenda contains matters on the budget, the finalization of the programme and organization of the symposium as well as new member applications.
27.10.2006 The previous meeting of the steering committee mostly concentrated on the organization of next years symposium. Firstly, the date of the symposium was confirmed to be 25th of January, 2007. The timetable of the one-day symposium will be similar to previous years. The place of the meeting will be the Sky World and restaurant MicroTower of Microteknia 3 building in the vicinity of the campus area of University of Kuopio. The official name of the meeting was also discussed but not yet decided. In other news from the meeting, three new members were accepted to the Society. Welcome aboard! The steering committee also discussed on how to attract more graduate students into the Socitety.
5.10.2006 The previous meeting of the steering committee was cut short due to technical problems, so the fifth meeting of the steering committee will be held already on 17.10.2006 starting from 4 PM. The agenda will be similar to the previous meeting.
25.9.2006 The fourth meeting of the steering committee will be held on 26.9.2006 via videoconference between Helsinki, Kuopio and Turku. Main topics will be the planning of speakers for the next symposium and the updating of the memberlist with new and resigned members.
6.7.2006 This years member letters are in the post! The letter contains a greeting from the chairman and an invoice for the payment of the membership fee for the year 2006. The payment of your membership fee guarantees a lower entrance fee to the next symposium! Also, please remember to correct your contact information when needed. It is easy to do via this page.
10.6.2006 The steering committee decided that lipids and their physicochemical characterization in pharmaceutical applications is the main subject for the next years symposium. The steering committee welcomes any suggestions for the speakers or the subjects. The preliminary date for the symposium is 25.1.2007.
19.5.2006 The next meeting of the steering committee will be held on 1.6.2006 at Biomedicum, Helsinki. Many members of the society will attend the Helsinki Drug Research 2006 meeting held at the same time, so see you there!
27.3.2006 The society web site has been restructured. The news page has been promototed to the front page. All of the old pages are still available through the links on the left.
23.3.2006 Next years symposium will be held at Kuopio (Finland). The main theme of the symposium was discussed but not yet finalized. The next Polymorfi member leaflet will be published at the symposium 2007.
21.3.2006 On this date the steering committee will hold a meeting for the second time this year via videoconference between Helsinki, Kuopio and Turku.

26.1.2006 The 17th Annual Symposium of Physical Pharmacy was held at Turku in the maritime museum Forum Marinum. The meeting was a great success, as usual. Some pictures taken from the symposia are presented here. See you next year!
